Summary/Abstract: The text evokes the personality of Olga Greceanu during the interwar period, one of the most famous names of Romania. She was a plastic artist and writer. In the first half of the 20th century, a whole generation of painters, among whom Costin Ioanid, Costin Petrescu, Nicolae Tonitza or Olga Greceanu, tried to define those elements specific to the national style, a kind of a synthesis of the stylistic features characteristic of the great Romanian provinces.
