Summary/Abstract: The proposed book is dedicated to the history of foundation, development and modern state of Bukovinian State Medical University. Historical essays in the book determine three twenty-five years periods of existence of a higher educational institution: 1944–1969, 1970–1994 and 1995– 2019. Each of the periods is described according to four issues of work in medical university: material, technical, staff and education. Methodic support of the educational process, students free-time advices, interns and graduates life, scientific and medical-practical base are also taken to attention. Actually, scientific intelligence is only point to the main moments of the university life story, and the real world of work and rest, scientific achievements, studying process appears in front of the reader, observed and divided in chronological way. Most of all photos are today a rarity stored in the family archives of professors, doctors, students of BSMU.
