Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with the research work of Mak Dizdar in the field of the older literature of Bosnia-Herzegovina, that is literacy and literature of medieval Bosnia. Namely, Dizdar initiated Bosnian studies in this field and made a remarkable contribution to the affirmation of the literacy and literature of the Bosnian Middle Ages. In this respect, Dizdar can be considered the founder of Bosnian Medieval studies.
