Summary/Abstract: This research performs an analysis of existing studies and theories toidentify different purchasing decision criteria for electric vehicles. A quantitative empiricalstudy was conducted on the importance of certain attributes of the vehicle, in which consumersliving in the Republic of Moldova are examined. The conceptual model used in this paper is the“Technology Acceptance Model” (TAM), which is extended by variables derived from othermodels, such as “The way innovation is disseminated” and “Theory of planned behavior”. Thearticle is also written based on a quantitative research on a sample of 100 people. Conclusionswere drawn regarding the research hypotheses
