Summary/Abstract: This article presents and evaluates the philosophical dimension of Antioni Gramsci’s work. Overcoming the “spontaneous philosophy” is possible only by establishing the organic unity of a superior philosophy of practice with common sense. Such a unity produces the fundamental assumption for cultural hegemony, thereby presents also the basis for the revolutionary change of the world.
