GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT AND DEVELOPMENT IN KOSOVO'S FOREIGN TRADE

Summary/Abstract: The paper reflects the economic transactions of Kosovo with other countries of the world. As this paper belongs to the field of finance, the research focuses on Kosovo's foreign trade including Kosovo's trade exchanges and trading partners in the period 2008-2015. The main objective of the paper focuses on the review and analysis of Kosovo's trade transactions with other countries, including the period 2008-2015. The performance of Kosovo's foreign trade is also reviewed, as well as the analysis of the performance of exports and imports with EU countries, countries in the region and other countries. In addition to other macroeconomic indicators, foreign trade also expresses the level of economic development of the respective country, which is expressed through the value and structure of imported and exported goods. Kosovo after the war of 1999, oriented market economy in foreign trade is dominated by imports with low level of exports resulting in high trade deficit. The paper analyzes Kosovo's foreign trade and Kosovo's trading partners.
