Summary/Abstract: This text depicts, in cinematographic poetics, the moment of the establishment of La Ciudad Abierta de Amereida, known in its abbreviated version as Open City, located 25 kms north of Valparaíso (Ritoque) and founded on 20 March 1970 in four poetic acts, which “opened” and outlined its space. The date was chosen intentionally: it marks the 200th anniversary of the birth of Friedrich Hölderlin, author of the phrase: “poetically man dwells upon this Earth”.
