Summary/Abstract: The contemporary school (or “new school”) is quickly becoming more open to innovations and continually introduces and emphasizes interactive methods and modes of education in the educational institutions. Experience shows that students accept much more easily and with higher interest any non-standard form of teaching and learning. For its part, the modernization of the school environment clearly highlights the need to introduce new technologies in education. The introduction of informational technology for communication and for educational purposes requires and necessitates adequate preparation of the user for these technologies on daily basis for achieving maximum efficiency in the learning process. New educational technologies contribute to higher achievements of the student’s learning experience and overall education, enriching the language competencies of teachers, and the development of teaching methods with direct effect on the educational process. The ongoing improvement of the quality of education, educational innovation, and excellence are key priorities in the new school.
