Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to develop a tool based on fuzzy logic in order to make a performant selection of human resources in companies, generally and of those of top-management within mining project from Roşia Montană, in particular. In the same time, it is able to be successfully applied even in other circumstances of the decisional process in order to successfully modelling the subjectivity and ambiguity of human reasoning, mostly manifested through linguistic values associated to linguistic variables. The proposed methodology is a multidisciplinary one, addressing issues from areas such as management, mathematics or psychology. Its design projected in this article in a personal manner allows selecting the most suitable manager of processing plant of precious metals within mining project from Roşia Montană, a key post for the success of this project, which requires employing the most appropriate specialist, taking into account the subjectivity of assessing the weight of importance of some selection criteria and of assessing the degree in which the potential candidates satisfy the requirements of these criteria, all these aspects modeled under the spectrum of fuzzy logic.
