Summary/Abstract: Autodesk Inventor enables the generating of a 2D technical drawing based on a 3D geometric model, so that a drawing can be printed on paper at a specific scale. The first view that is created is called the Base View. Other views of the model can be obtained by designing a basic view. Projected views can be orthographic projections or isometric projections. Orthographic projections are aligned with the base view and inherit the size and view settings of the base view. In addition to the shape dimensions, which are used to create shapes, additional reference dimensions can be created. Shape dimensions are used to control geometry, while reference dimensions control existing geometry. Therefore, reference dimensions can be added or deleted, while shape dimensions can be shown or hidden. The associative functionality of Autodesk Inventory allows you to change the design of the model at any level, and the program will automatically reflect the changes at all levels
