Summary/Abstract: The aspiring artist on the Balkans most often looks for tutors out of the studio and out of the educational institution. The relation between master and student in the Arts have already left the limits of the actual educational system. In fact this process started long ago. Nowadays the young artist tries to find self-determination mainly in his ability to create pieces of art not less significant as artistic structures than those which exist in the European environment today or existed in the recent history. Giorgio Morandi (1880 . 1964) is not one of the most popular artists of the 20th century, but his presence has established itself in the system of the methods of teaching fine arts painting in one of the studios of the SWU .Neophyt Rilski.. During his life G. Morandi has never been involved in teaching. Today, however, one could say that he is one of the teachers of the students from the SWU speciality of Pedagogy of Fine Arts. This study presents the results of the creative and educational process in fine arts painting for students in the Arts Faculty (SWU .Neophyt Rilski., Blagoevgrad). The methodological system for fine arts instruction, applied by us for a decade, is based on the concept that the interpretation of masterpieces from those included in the History of Fine Arts course motivates the students in their own creative activities and introduces stimuli for a profound study of the artistic forms without breaking the basic principle of work in artistic tuition: painting from nature.
