Summary/Abstract: Weaving that can last for many years may wear out, tear over time or deform for any reason. In order to eliminate these negative situations, repairs, namely repairs, can be restored. Restoration means repairs or repairs in the damaged area by adhering to the original product. Carpet and rug restoration is carried out in Sultanhanı. As a result of the inability to find a market for weaving products in the region, which has been weaving for many years, and failing to obtain the material value that the hand labor deserves, the local people have turned to carpet rug restoration and have proven themselves in this area. It has made its name known to the world, especially with the restoration of palace, ministry, parliament and weaving samples from abroad, and has achieved great success in becoming a restoration center for carpets and plain weavings in the world. With this study, information is given about the restoration techniques, types and process steps used in Sultanhanı district and the samples of restoration weaving.
