Summary/Abstract: Human resources are considered as being “strategic resources of the organization” by C.H. Besseyre-Horts, resources of vital importance for the functioning of the organization, being necessary to facilitate the access of one's own staff to courses and training and improvement programs. Individual career planning involves identifying relevant information on the qualifications that best correspond to one's professional training, training opportunities for promotion, identifying jobs that best meet criteria for compatibility with personal aspirations and interests. Knowledge of the essential characteristics for different jobs is also relevant for career planning, being pointed out in this regard the complexity of work tasks, the level of knowledge required, experience in performing similar work tasks, working conditions, accomplishment of certain tasks, repetitive work tasks, professional status conferred, salary, work environment, organizational culture, etc.
