Summary/Abstract: The aim of this research is the one of the possible interpretations of post-structuralism as one of the most significant phenomena within the so-called postmodern philosophy. Namely, the main feature of the post-structuralism is the arbitrariness of interpretation. This arbitrariness is the result of the easy grafting of the concepts and methods ofclassical structuralism in philosophy in the late ХХ century. The arbitrariness of sign, asthe principle of Ferdinand de Saussure's linguistics, through Claude Lévi-Strauss's structural anthropology, has turned into arbitrariness of interpretation in post-structuralism.In this study, arbitrariness was recognized as the basis of a new possibility of interpretation - through the so-called primitive communities of Lévi-Strauss, toward the interpretation of the text by Jacques Derrida. In fact it is a rejection of the hermeneutic claim totruth. Instead, there is the mixing of genres and philosophy ceases to be a theory focusedon conceptual knowledge of reality, but gradually the practice of narration, in which thegame of imagination begins - as the skill of making a new meaning. However, such liberation of language releases philosophy and demands for universal validity. The paperdoes not answer the question of what will happen to such anti-philosophy in the future.
