Even though the Congress of Elbasan is an event already dealt with in the Albanian historiography, details concerning its organization, the difficulties encountered, its achievements, the variety of representation from different Albanian regions, etc. can still be subject of academic research and analysis, especially when the event is seen from the foreign diplomats point of view. This study is based mainly on the information provided by the contemporary Austro-Hungarian diplomatic documents. In these documents there is ample information on the opening of the Pedagogic School or as it is otherwise known the Elbasan Normal School, the first Albanian national secondary school, in December 1909. The opening of the Elbasan Normal School, the foundation of several other schools, particularly elementary schools, as well as the attempts to formally introduce the Albanian language in all the schools attended by Albanian pupils and financed by the government, together with the foundation in Korça of the Progressive Society^; (Shoqëria Përparimi) dealing with financial support, administration and supply of Albanian schools with the necessary textbooks and teaching materials, etc. are a result of the Elbasan Congress decisions held in September of the same year (2-8 September 1909). All these stages are considered in the Austro-Hungarian documents as progressive, enlightening the path towards the creation of a national identity, educational and cultural development, and taking the idea of autonomy or independence, which varied according the circumstances, a step further. In this authentic information provided by the Austro-Hungarian diplomats of the time, it can be easily detected the motivation of Vienna in the years 1908-1909, in carefully inciting the Albanian National Movement, by eliminating the contradictions amongst the Albanian elite, developing the national culture and education, supporting the national movement to overcome obstacles and certainly, fostering a pro-Austro-Hungarian lobby amidst the Albanians. On the other hand, all the facts reported by the contemporary Austro-Hungarian consuls testify to the fast progress that the Albanians were doing in finalizing their national aspiration. The Congress of Elbasan and its decisions, together with the opening of the Normal School are very important and persuasive evidence that strengthen this conclusion.

Pilgrimage is an ancient form of religious expression, inherent in almost every confession. Modern pilgrimage differs from past pilgrim travels in various attributes. Pilgrimages contribute to the tourism development because they affect interreligious and international communication. In the first place, significance and topicality of the subject is explained, and basic concepts are defined (pilgrimage, religious tourism, contemporary pilgrim). After that, a theoretical and methodological framework has been provided. Research relays to religious and ethical „mixed“ pilgrimages and also includes Orthodox chancels: St. Petka’s chapel in Kalemegdan and Madonna of Đunis monastery and catholic chancel Madonna of Tekije near Petrovaradin. These places are visited regardless of the visitor's faith. In depth interviews were conducted in 2007 in Belgrade, and the sample consisted of 25 Orthodox and 25 Catholic interviewees. We were monitoring religiosity of pilgrims through time by using three categories: upbringing, conversion, and self-assessment of religiosity. Regarding the category of upbringing, three groups were identified: those with a traditional religious formation, an irreligious formation, and those from devotional families. According to the self-assessement of religiosity, the following typology was formed: assured and practical believer, missionary, and traditionalist. We noticed three straight lines in believers’ religious life: progression, stagnation and regression. The results of this exploration confirm that family influence on examinees’ religiosity is strong, but the key category for progression in their religious lives is conversion understood as a dynamic category.

The Daničić Gospel is a Bosnian manuscript written in the late fourteenth or early fifteenth centuries. Variants of the Daničić Gospel are available based on the edition of the Nikolje Gospel by Đuro Daničić, so this manuscript is also known in literature as the Nikolje b Gospel. The textological research of the Daničić Gospel in recent studies have offered conflicting views on its relationship to the Nikolje Gospel. On the other hand, recent research of the Bosnian group of manuscripts has shown that the Daničić Gospel often agrees with the Čajniče Gospel in Bosnia. This paper explores filial relations between the Daničić Gospel and the Nikolje Gospel on the one hand, and Daničić Gospel and the Čajniče Gospel on the other hand.

A jelölt regénytípus vonzatköreiben való vizsgálata ugyanakkor rámutat a korszak, a múlt század húszas éveinek végén kibontakozó irodalompolitikai erővonalak alakulására, illetve a kisebbségi irodalmak konstituálódásának szinkron folyamataira is. A dolgozat az összevető vizsgálatok eredményeit mutatja be.
