The paper discusses the process of solving indicative equations. Some didactic modules like stages of solving, problems-components of any given problem, strategies for solving a problem, difficulties and mistakes that are expected to be made by pupils are analyzed. As a way of overcoming these issues and achieving understanding as well as efficient learning, teaching and mastering the indicative equations solving skills, systems of problems are proposed.
