Conclusions. As a result of the study, it has been established that the attitude of religion to the fine arts consists in a close connection with respect to the depiction of religious traditional images recorded in the history of culture and issues arising with this connection. In Ukraine, many types of religions are known, however, the domestic worldview is based on Christianity, the main feature of which is that the world is divided into supernatural and material, where, as works of fine art show, the former dominates the other. These are general theoretical problems of the relationship between fine art and religion, the solution of which can be sought both at the level of defining the essence of both phenomena, and at the level of studying a particular tradition. Christian images in works of modern fine art are a reproduction of the history of religion, a reflection of the author's moral and aesthetic attitude to the world. Christian images in works of modern fine art reflect the spiritual life of society, they are one of the forms of social consciousness. A person basically has a creative origin, therefore, being focused on creativity, he endlessly strives for the perfection of the created artistic images.
