Undoubtedly, “dialectic methodology”, which has came into existence from the internal dynamics of Islamic thought, contrary to the common assumption, has provided Islamic scholars and thinkers especially the Islamic theologians with great openings and facilities to understand and interpret Islamic texts. Thus, “jadal methodology”, which provides Islamic theologians with very significant opportunities and facilities in the course of the development of Islamic thought to establish firmly or reason some religious and philosophical thoughts and approaches they have accepted or have adopted. In other words, they have benefited today to a large extent from the methodology under some particular conditions in understanding and interpreting the religious Nasses even in the modern period. This study aims to cover the topic of “dialectic methodology” trying to clarify in a sense the methodological problem Islamic researchers have currently encountered by introducing the methodology used in the Middle Ages and further the basic arguments and grounds of this methodological approach.

Contrary to the common assumption, “Ta‟wil (interpretation) methodology”, has come into a existence from the internal dynamics of Islamic thought, which has provided Islamic scholars and thinkers especially the Islamic theologians (Kalam scholars) with great openings and facilities to understand and interpret Islamic texts. Thus, “ta‟wil methodolgy”, provides theologians of Islam (Kalam scholars) with very significant oppurtunities and facilities in the course of the development of Islamic thought to establish firmly or reasoned thoughts or approaches which they have accepted or adopted. “Ta‟wil methodology” has not been limited just to a period it has influenced. Contrary to this, it has still continued to serve those wishing to express their religious views and approaches with different categories. In other words, Islamic Kalam (theology) of the 21th century have benefited today to a large extent from the methodology under some particular conditions in understanding and interpreting the religious nasses even in the modern period and have started to discuss the presentations of “ta‟wil methodology”.

The fact of reinterpreting the Old Testament writings in the New Testament is a matter of course. The use of those texts for kerygmatic purposes is especially characteristic, especially as regards prophetic texts having an eschatological character. Both the person of Jesus and His message were identified and substantiated in this way. Texts undertaking reinterpretation concentrate on pointing out that Jesus is the One heralded in the Old Testament. Jesus is also presented in them as an exegetical authority. His argumentation shows some similarities to the method used in the texts of Qumran. This Judaic method takes on its own characteristics in the New Testament. One should probably speak here of an alternative pesher method in the New Testament. It also seems, that one might speak here of a common reinterpreting spirit in contemporary Judaism, of a kind of hermeneutic community, although the interpretation we find in the New Testament reveals obvious autonomic features.

Evaluation culture in Poland is still in its initial phase. We are still far from Anglo-Saxon models of socializing evaluation studies, in which both the researcher-evaluator and respondents, managers and others involved have the impact on the design and the course of the research. Social evaluation is a difficult research model, requiring the inclusion of diverse participants. However, its value is directly proportional to the effort necessary to carry it out, since it brings about increased involvement, understanding and utilisation of its results.

Due to the profound changes in the modern world, the role of a contemporary library is also not what it used to be. The paper presents new various roles fulfilled by libraries in the 21st century, showing that, in the current reality, measuring the effectiveness of a library only quantitatively oversimplifies the issue and does not do justice to the socially complex function of this cultural institution. Based on the quantitative and qualitative research, the author attempts to specify certain elements of the future role of a library, indicate how the library performance evaluation systems should be improved, and suggest his own original method of measuring the library total value and performance.

Anders Fogh Jensen states that projects seem to have no value other than bringing forward change, regardless of the ethical dimension of that change. However, when living in a project and being part of the process of projectification of such institutions as universities, flesh-and-blood individuals are caught in various and often moral dilemmas. In the paper, I attempt to answer the question of how to include moral values in the analysis of project life. Do we know how to present in detail the dilemmas of a life in projects? What causes these dilemmas? I answer these questions in the autoethnographic account. In August 2015, I started a three-year scientific project entitled “Tacit morality.” At the same time, I began keeping a field diary and describing my experience within the project. Autoethnography of science, which I present here, can be run by every scientist; after all, each of us carries projects. On the basis of my field notes, I have managed to identify controversies and dilemmas which appear in projects. Having analysed them, I have come to the conclusion that the relation between a (scientific) project and a stable institution (university) should be based on values, e.g. solidarity, and institutional facilitation. I start the article with the question of how to criticize the disadvantages of projectification and at the same time notice its advantages.

Measuring intelligence in the blind population is a very challenging task. The Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale, one of the most popular IQ tests, is not suitable due to its reliance on visual stimuli. However, one can observe that neuroscientists have started to look for neural correlates of intelligence, for example by measuring the accuracy of performance in a popular n-back task while subjects undergo fMRI scans. It has been shown that the so-called general intelligence strongly correlates with the memory system in sighted people. Since working memory can also be tested independently of a given sensory input, it can prove to be an excellent tool to measure the working memory capacity, which can serve as a neural correlate of intelligence in the blind.

Purpose – The main objective of this study is to give an idea of pension investment decisions of individuals operating in Turkey guiding the company through the most appropriate pension companies. Design/methodology/approach – The research problem is the sequencing of private pension companies in line with certain criteria. The data set is the current data for the period of February 2019 belonging to five Private Pension Companies. Criterion weightings were calculated by face-to-face interviews with the individual and five individual pension counselors who planned to invest. The weights from the AHP Method were applied to the GRA method. Findings – According to the results of the survey, the most important criterion was ‘number of participants’ according to AHP Method. Discussion – the collected resources to invest in private pension company in Turkey, despite the state contribution is limited compared to OECD countries. This rate is higher among the main causes of the inflation rate in Turkey is limited and the average income is considered to be low. Findings from the study Genç et al. (2015), Dinçer, Görener (2011) and Ertuğrul, Öztaş (2016) show similarities with their studies. As the decision makers change, the criteria weights will change and the implementation results will be different.
