Percepția comunității asupra înecării copiilor: o cercetare calitativă din partea de sud a Bangladeshului
Drowning is among the 10th leading causes of mortality among children globally. Children aged under 5 years are excessively at risk where males are twice at risk to drown compared to females. Moreover, it is one of the main causes of childhood mortality in rural Bangladesh. Lack of adequate supervision was one of the major contributing factors of these drowning in Bangladesh. The aim of this study was to explore community perceptions of drowning, water safety and post-drowning health seeking behaviors of community members.
