The article presents a study case of the project “Taking Farmers out of Poverty Through Economic Development” („Să combatem sărăcia prin dezvoltare economică”), that was awarded the 1st prize within the Civil Society Gala 2013, the Social and Economical Development section.

The farmers have participated to courses for writing projects: 150 members of the new set up associations have accessed funds through the National Plan for Rural Development, and the total value of the accessed funds for the period 2009 – 2013 is over 1, 3 million Euros.
