Gramatizēšanās un leksikalizēšanās attieksmes
Unlike grammaticalization, lexicalization is a process without single system and development. In addition, lexicalization is more or less individualized in every language. The starting point of the lexicalization process can be at least of three kinds:1 affix → (clitics) → lexeme2 word form → lexeme3 word / wordform group → lexeme All mentioned cases strongly depend on the context; they are closely connected with the grammatical system of language: morfphology → syntax → discourse. Thus, as pointed out by Lehmann, manifestation of lexicalization is manifold to compare with grammaticalization and it lacks one-direction development. Lexicalization can start at any stage of grammaticalization, redound to grammaticalization or materialize as independent process.
