The dental profession has as its main purpose the provision of safe help, aimed at minimizing risks and establishing an open culture, related to patient safety. Different strategies such as identification of patient safety threats have been developed for this purpose through a report of incidents, indentification of best practice, communication and education. The most common errors associated with pain management, medication errors, misguided documentation, absence of informed consent, non - compliance with medical standards and rules for good medical practice. The study is aimed at providing assessments and guidelines for specific management strategies and actions to promote the sport 3 on 3 basketball and to improve the marketing campaigns for each 3x3 event. To optimize the process of their planning, organization and conduct. The subject of research is the social norms and the factors influencing the development and management of sports 3 x 3 as a public domain. Since 2007, over 150 streetball / basketball tournaments have been organized in Bulgaria. In 2011, FIBA create a platform for registration for each individual tournament, www.3x3planet.com, which in 2017 was updated to www.play.fiba3x3.com. All 3x3 basketball organizers use the FIBA platform where they register each tournament and all participants collect world ranking points.

Using the questionnaire method, a survey was conducted on the opinion of the students from the “D. A. Tsenov “participating in the basketball classes on: their attitude to the game; their assessment of the classes and the role of the lecturer at the higher school; about the state of the material and technical base; and their views on the control criteria. The aim of the study is an opportunity to build a holistic view of the popularity and development of basketball game among high school students. Several statistical methods were used to process the survey results: graphical and tabular methods and methods for weak scale dependency analysis based on a square criterion. Based on the study, basketball has been proven to be an important place in the physical education system, not only as a discipline in the high school, but also as a type of sport practiced by students, and in extra time in the form of basketball 3х3.

The concept of healthy aging requires a special approach and care for oral health. In response to this need, a new branch of dentistry, called geriatric dental medicine, was created. It includes the provision of dental treatment for the elderly, such as diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment of oral diseases. Geriatric dental medicine poses many challenges to healthcare professionals. The purpose of this publication is to outline the main problems in providing dental services to geriatric patients. Primary care is the provision of orthopedic treatment to restore damaged features and improve quality of life. This type of treatment and the predictions behind it depend on many factors. Preventive care for adult oral health also poses many challenges for healthcare professionals. Nowadays, this group of patients retain their natural dentition much longer than in the past, but still the level of cases with caries, periodontitis, xerostomia remains high. Most oral diseases prophylaxis programs target young people and adults over 60 have no place in them. Many people still believe that tooth loss is a natural process and can not be prevented.

Aim: To study the opinion of dental medicine students on the major problems and challenges they face after graduating. Material and Methods: The study was conducted among 160 students of dental medicine at the Faculty of Medicine at Plovdiv Medical University. The sociological method used is a direct individual survey. The questionnaire includes questions about the main problems and challenges that young people face after they have graduated from university. The results were processed with SPSS v.10. Results: The main problems that young dental doctors face are the lack of funds for postgraduate training and qualification (specialized courses are extremely expensive); over-concentration of dental doctors in large cities, especially those with dental faculties; the lack of a state policy to regulate this process; the outdated ordinance for acquiring a specialty in the field of health care (Ordinance No. 1 of January 22, 2015), which leads to the impossibility of upgrading knowledge and specializations.

This article examines Herbert Spencer‘s organic-evolutionary sociological theory, built on the analogy of dependencies in the development of society and the development of biological organisms, which places special emphasis on the interpretation of the idea of progress. The article analyzes a number of basic points in Spencer‘s teaching, such as the relationship between social and industrial progress, the role of property and socio-economic wellbeing, the evolutionary forms of statehood, legislation and lawmaking, the interpretation of positive and negative freedom. Spencer‘s concept of social evolution is also considered here, according to which societies are not created, but develop and cannot be created artificially and intentionally, as they grow naturally like any natural system.

The article presents the results of a research into the qigong psychophysical gymnastics effect on a person in the assessment of people practicing it. The research method was a questionnaire. The sample included forty-six respondents of both genders who have different experience in practicing qigong. The data obtained have confirmed the positive effect of this type of gymnastics on the physical and mental human health, as well as on physical fitness.

Wprowadzenie. Problematyka samodzielności i niezależności osób z niepełnosprawnościąintelektualną jest często omawiana w literaturze pedagogicznej, bywa jednak ujmowana w wąskimzakresie. Obejmuje kwestie podejmowania decyzji w błahych sprawach, pomijając tefundamentalne, np. dotyczące możliwości decydowania o tym, gdzie i z kim zamieszkać.Cel. Głównym celem badania było określenie potrzeb mieszkaniowych dorosłych osóbz niepełnosprawnością intelektualną. Uwzględniono perspektywę rodziców (N = 68)w wieku od 41 do 82 lat (M = 59,66, SD = 8,56).Metody. Posłużono się metodą sondażu diagnostycznego. Zastosowano autorski kwestionariuszankiety dla rodzica mieszkającego wraz ze swoim dorosłym dzieckiem z niepełnosprawnościąintelektualną.Wyniki. Analiza wypowiedzi rodziców wskazuje na to, że ponad połowa z nich (53%)chciałaby, aby ich dorosłe dziecko w przyszłości mogło nadal mieszkać w domu rodzinnymlub z rodzeństwem; co trzeci rodzic (32,4%) pragnąłby, aby zamieszkałow całodobowym małym domu o charakterze rodzinnym dla nie więcej niż 10 osób.Respondenci poproszeni o dokonanie wyboru potencjalnej placówki dla swojego dorosłegodziecka w większości (64,7%) wskazali na mały dom o charakterze rodzinnym(np. L’Arche).Wnioski. Istnieje potrzeba przygotowywania rodziców do tego, by mogli rozstać sięz własnym dzieckiem, pozwalając mu na większą autonomię. Niezwykle ważne jesttakże zwiększenie liczby niewielkich domów o charakterze rodzinnym z zatrudnionymiw nich na stałe asystentami, przeznaczonych dla dorosłych osób z niepełnosprawnościąintelektualną.

The present article examines the quality of life, its characteristics, and conditions of manifestation. Quality of life indicates the degree of well-being and satisfaction in individual and social terms. It relates to a set of factors representing well-being, physical condition, and health; material success and income; the social environment and contacts; emotional satisfaction; personal development. The article studies the professional community as one of the important prerequisites for quality of life because the profession and its related income, career, environment, and development opportunities a conditions for unfolding the objective and subjective dimensions of the quality of life in a personal and community plan. The professional community is also related to creating contacts and social capital, contributing to well-being. The analysis traces various types of inequalities that can reveal themselves in professional and social relationships and impact the quality of life. The article shows the activity environment as significant for the life characteristics of individuals and for their subjective evaluations and states, as well as for the perception of the quality of life as a complex variable measuring the status of individuals.

The Republic of Serbia as a transitional country is burdened with numerous problems. In this state of affairs in the country, almost every aspect of women's safety is threatened. Great scarcity and poverty characterizes certain layers of the population, which represents a suitable ground for discrimination based on gender. There are frequent cases that women's rights are violated and that they are victims of various forms of gender-based violence. The forms of this violence can be: domestic violence, sexual violence, economic violence, human trafficking and the like. Women who are forced to flee due to unforeseen circumstances, as well as temporarily displaced persons, are in particularly difficult circumstances. This includes women who are in return status. We should also take into account the percentage of domestic violence, which is not negligible, both in the past and today. This paper focuses on the theoretical aspect of gender equality in the Republic of Serbia. I conclude that despite progress in establishing the principle of gender equality, there is still a long way to effective equality.
