Summary/Abstract: The book characterises the main pillars of methodological paradigm of research focused on the area of human movement-related behaviour. Currently used methodological approaches are described in detail. Simultaneously, their limits are introduced, from which the key methodological challenges are critically derived. The aim of the author was to put partial aspects of methodological paradigm in a broader context and to allow the reader to obtain the comprehensive view of the problems associated with the investigation of human movement-related behaviour. The reader should understand more the essence of research in the field as a whole and thus improve his competence to interpret the conclusions of relevant studies.
