Summary/Abstract: The bilingual monograph entitled Polonistika v Olomouci v przeszłości a dnes / Polonistyka w Ołomuńcu dawniej i dziś is divided into four chronologically arranged sections. The picture of Olomouc polonistics in the more distant and recent years is enriched by medallions of Czech and Polish teachers in alphabetical order, memories and comments of Polish lecturers. In addition to the mostly older generation of teachers and lecturers, the younger and the youngest generation, graduates of master's studies and doctoral graduates, together with those who make up a very promising group of current doctoral students, and the final group consists of domestic and foreign collaborators.
