Summary/Abstract: Eshtref Qahili (December 1960), graduated in painting at the University of Prishtina where he received his master’s degree. He is a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Prishtina. Author of several personal exhibitions in Kosovo and abroad, a participant in several international exhibitions and recipient of several awards in the field of painting, Qahili in his works has drawings, paintings, graphics, installation, relief sculpture, sculpture ... Kosovo and its discourse circulates along with the predominant ideas of his visual creativity. Throughout these ideas the event and the human being culminate; birth, burial and exhumation, exodus, return to roots, its history from archaism - to the present. Therefore, it is no coincidence that his artistic corpus does not include more than 700 works and in almost all of them, there is drawing. Yes, because drawing is an integral part of the basis of work, and colour conception is more of an endless descriptive narrative of character, event, personality, feeling, fantasy. cosmos, etc. Eshref Qahili continues to create in his studio and Galeria Qahili in Pristina.
