Summary/Abstract: Intelligence is popular so it is obvious that we should want to reveal the influence of popular culture on intelligence activities. Intelligence must relate to a complex of environmental variables and the public is a particularly important variable. Our working assumption is that the spytainment industry is an important force in shaping public perception on intelligence, perception that ultimately affects everything from intelligence performance and producers-consumers relations to funding of personnel and human sources recruitment.
