Summary/Abstract: Ukraine and Kazakhstan pay special attention to the development of private entrepreneurship. The arsenal of mechanisms aimed at supporting entrepreneurship, in particular the implementation of innovative business projects (start-ups), has been complemented in recent years with mechanisms based on public-private partnerships: business incubators, business accelerators, and others. Despite the similarity of the reasons for the emergence and development of these mechanisms, their current practical application in Ukraine and Kazakhstan is somewhat different. In the article, the authors conduct a comparative analysis of the mechanisms of support which business incubators provide to start-ups, as well as of the legal and contractual framework for these relations. This constitutes the novelty of this study.
