Summary/Abstract: The resilience of an adequate protection of personal data is built on the foundation of information transparency. No data subject may be considered protected if his or her personal data are processed non-transparently, if he or she is not provided, in a clear and intelligible manner, with all information relating to the way his or her personal data that are processed, if he or she loses control over them, the data subject experiencing not just a simple feeling of dissatisfaction, but, not just in a few cases, risking much more severe consequences, which can go as far as theft of identity, goods or values etc.
