Summary/Abstract: The subject of the study is the semantic analysis of CarpathismkuČa. The aim of our paper is to compare semantic structure, which is captured in the Questionnaire of the Carpathian Dialectological Atlas (CDA), in the CDA itself and in the Bulgarian materials. In our paper we focused on semantic distinctive components – semantic features – classification, identification and specification. We compared the basic and secondary meanings in Questionnaire of CDA, CDA and Bulgarian materials. We have found that there is one more meaning in Bulgarian materials: izba. We have also monitored changes in the lexical meaning and captured the occurrence of Carpathism in the Carpathian area.
