Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the evaluative aspect of phraseological units used in informative political texts in online media. The focus is on the evaluative attitude (rational assessment respectively) and the emotive attitude (emotive assessment respectively) as composite elements of the evaluation of these units through which expressiveness is achieved. A way is sought to convey expression through phraseologyin a certain context.
