Summary/Abstract: In this paper, the emphasis is put on the theoretical concepts of Intercultural poetics and the term of ìethosõ as its constitutive element. The research is based on examples from the works of Macedonian born writer Aline Apostolska nowadays based in Canada and indicates the need for specific hermeneutics in analysis the works of authors with several backgrounds.
