Summary/Abstract: Dănilă Papp was an officer of Romanian origin who served in the Imperial Army of AustriaHungary during 1890-1918. From December 1918 he served in the Royal Army of Greater Romania. This study aims to present to the reader the hierarchical and command path exercised by officer Dănilă Papp. We also presented the dates of exercising the command on the eastern front of the same officer, both in Galicia, but especially in Bucovina. In 1917-1918, the Papp division he commanded was seconded to northern Italy. From December 1918 he served in the Sibiu General Territorial Command, part of the structure of the Public Defense and Security Resort chaired by Ștefan Cicio Pop in the Board of Directors of Transylvania. From 1919 he was promoted to the rank of brigadier general and received the command of the 18th Infantry Division.
