Changes Related to the Young People Autonomy: From the Youth of the Transition to the Youth of Education and Relaxation - part II

Summary/Abstract: This research approaches the theme about changes that appear in the youth period characteristics by analyzing the young people educational choices, with an accent on the participants to the Peninsula Festival. In the transitional youth period young people are less independent, this period of life being one for preparing to earn their existence and to form a family, to follow a road already taken by the previous generations. In the mean time, the educational youth period is characterized by the increasing of the importance of the cultural capital, accumulating school knowledge, the change of social reproduction
