Summary/Abstract: The article presents the historical development of the problem related to child trafficking. A legal analysis is made of the international legislation on combating that crime, from the adoption of the International Convention for the Suppression of the “White Slave Traffic” of May 4, 1910 to the conclusion of the Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons Especially Women and Children, supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime of 15 November 2000.
