Linguistic creativity as a source of comedy (from the language of tourist guides)

Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to analyze tourist guides’ utterances in terms of creativity. The creativity of these utterances is a source of comedy. The following research methods were used in the article: research material selection method, definitional method, descriptive method, material classification method, semantic, lexical and quantitative analysis methods. As a result of the research, 9 groups representing appropriate types of linguistic creativity of tourist guides were found.
