Processing of Corpora of Serbian Using Electronic Dictionaries

Summary/Abstract: The paper outlines the problem of Serbian language resources processing, among others compiling electronic dictionaries and corpora. It discusses the computational techniques used in the process of creating general Serbian dictionaries and dictionaries of proper names. Moreover, the article describes the current stage of development of the Corpus of Contemporary Serbian and the subcorpora within this corpus. The last part of the paper is devoted to parallel corpora in which Serbian is featured, e.g. the French–Serbian literary corpus.
