AZERBAYCAN MÜZİK KÜLTÜRÜNDE AT KONUSU
HORSE TOPIC IN AZERBAIJAN MUSIC CULTURE

Summary/Abstract: In the article titled “Horse Topic in the Azerbaijan Music Culture” the importance of the horse, which has common material and spiritual value of Turkish world and has been included in the tradition, cultural heritage of the people for thousands of years, the role of horse in the life style of humanity, besides the evaluation of the positive services, paid attention to work about this subject in Azerbaijan oral and written literature in Azebaijan folk musics, Azerbaijan Ashik songs and compositions of Azerbaijan composers about horse subject, even attention is paid to the rhythmic speed of the footsteps reflecting the running of the horse in in Azerbaijan cinema musics. At the same time, valuable findings are explored by shedding light on idoms ,proverb and written axamples about horses, and finally on problems related to the horse the existence of important materials in some folk music instruments of Turks including the Oriental world.
