Summary/Abstract: When everything goes disorderly, it`s good to take a step back and analyze.This study aims at a theoretical analysis of the way and the degree to which the use of music technologies in music education activities during the pandemic improves (or not) this process and creates (or not) the premises for both a paradigm shift, and a change in perspective, a restructuring, a remodeling of music education.The paper is structured into three parts, followed by some final considerations. The first part briefly presents the basic model of music education, the second part brings to attention the elements of novelty as determinants of change, and the third part summarizes the challenges and questions generated by the facelift model of music education.
