Summary/Abstract: Two books and two genres, burlesque and science-fiction - provided that the burlesque might be included in such a pattern - are to be found to some extent in a couple of far-distant writings, Cyrano de Bergerac's "Other World" or "The Estates and Empires of the Sun" and Jules Verne's "Around the Moon". This comparative analysis shows that transgression of norms manages to get people out of their inertial mind blockings and to regenerate their world view.
