Conversation with Ede Barabási, the director of Grand Hotel Retro Bird’s montage director

Summary/Abstract: The process of the theatre performances that smoothly moved into digital space many new professionals joined the technical crew: the montage director’s task is to mediate the artistic experience to the viewers who are not in the theatrical space. Ede Barabási worked as such professional at the streaming of Grand Hotel Retro Bird directed by Radu Afrim in The Tompa Miklós Company of the National Theatre of Târgu-Mureş. The doctoral student István Steff Tóth asked him about his profession, about adaptation possibilities, techniques and technologies as well as expectations and challenges.
