Summary/Abstract: The author in her analysis of László Bocsárdi’s stage direction Alice describes the theatrical portrayal of the dehumanized bodies, the twenty-first century’s always-changing human and body imagery in relation with the performance’s visual, costume and gesture world. According to her the visual world of Alice merges the globalized mass culture elements with deep human sensitiveness, the embodied instinctive and emotional world by creating various identities and alter egos. The posthuman dimension is resurrected by the well-known mass culture products and styles (such as trash), this way exploring the complex inner world of a teenage girl.
