Why do we badly need the cultural sector’s reform?

Summary/Abstract: The Romanian theatre critic and editor of the journal Scena, Cristina Modreanu writes about the need of inevitable reforms of the state cultural institutions especially those of performing arts, in regard with the emergency governmental order no.189, its modification attempts and their refusal. Modreanu criticizes the adopted institute direction mechanisms, in which the artistic and management tasks are led by one person, which is very contraproductive. She also criticizes the life-long leadership, as the mandates of the elected leaders is not maximized.
