Summary/Abstract: Lőrinc Szabó’s poetry is a crucial task for anyone who concerns with the history of modern Hungarian literature. In my paper I introduce the perspectives offered by the spatial turn in order to enrich the points of view regarding late modern poetry. Spatiality here is based on structural connections that play a large role in various poems of Te meg a világ (You and the World, 1932), Lőrinc Szabó’s most influential book. This new assessment helps us to understand the poetry of the era more, and proves that this viewpoint is necessary to broaden our historical questioning.
