Summary/Abstract: This last article from the miniseries of four published in previous issues of the RevArt magazine follows the diachronic path of the instrumental doina “Dragostea ca pe Teslui” by comparing the three versions: Ilie Chirea (recorded by ethnomusicologist Constantin Brăiloiu between 1939-1941), Gică Chirea (recorded by ethnomusicologist Speranța Rădulescu in 1991), and Mitel Drăgulin (recorded by myself in 2015). Following the comparative analysis, general conclusions will be drawn about variation and the various avatars of the instrumental love doina “Ca pe Teslui” over a period of about 80 years.
