Summary/Abstract: In recent conflicts, the simple military exploitation of the battlefield seems more and more awkward and inappropriate. Nowadays, victory refers increasingly to hearts, minds and perceptions. Today, success requires dominating the electromagnetic environment to ensure judicious application of military capability and the informational environment to ensure the dissemination, exploitation or banning of information. We have entered the age of electronic warfare, which tends to become a decisive factor in a modern war. Both in the present and in the future, the electronic warfare is and will remain an important source of timely, reliable and useful information for military and political-military leadership structures in times of peace, crisis and military conflict.
