Information protection in cloud computing

Summary/Abstract: The citizens of today’s society, dependent on information and dynamics, the technological evolution that made possible the widespread of the Internet and the exponential growth of the number of smart devices have led to the emergence of cloud computing technology that revolutionized access to computing resources. Information security is the main challenge for cloud service providers because there are studies showing that this is the main reason why some organizations do not adopt full migration of cloud services. This paper analyses the security of cloud computing technology, based on main vulnerabilities and threats, and the importance of risk assessment process.
