Social and political youth associations: their role in the development of the political system of the Russian Federation

Summary/Abstract: The relevance of the study is conditioned by the need for an in-depth investigation of young people's position in the Russian Federation and the prospects for political socialization due to its importance to society and the degree of participation in the current transformations in the country. Transformations cannot be considered successful if they do not allow young people to fully enter the world of politics. The transformations globalize the vision of young people, which is based on the principles and standards of democracy, reflects the present political climate and takes the experience of previous generations into account. The purpose of the study was a detailed political analysis of the essence, priorities, and features of the political socialization development of modern Russian youth, and the development of recommendations for the optimal activity of youth policy management institutions in the Russian Federation. The study analyzed the features of the political socialization of youth in Russian society due to changes in the value paradigm of youth development. Political pluralism is common in the modern democratic political culture. Therefore, the authors provided reasoning for the thesis that the political socialization involves young people in democratic political values. Therewith, it is necessary to promote an intolerance to any hostility and violence that contradicts the civilized forms of human life. This base allows performing the role of an active political subject of transformations in Russian society.
