Mcreligion. Contribution To The Mcdonaldization Theory In The Politology Of Religion

Summary/Abstract: Author deals with the problem of the transfer of McDonaldization theory of society within the field of religion theory. This work claims that if we accept the mcdonaldization theory of society it could lead us to speak about mcdonaldization of religion, or at least about some religious phenomena. As an example, the author points the processes within new religious mouvements, new trends within Catholic church after the II Vatican Council, and different churches and religious communities. As the other parts of the society under the process of the mcdonaldization, new trends of religious phenomena could be named as McReligion.
