Summary/Abstract: Prose writer, poet, translator, memorialist, priest (monk since 1942), metropolitan, academician, member of the Romanian Writers’ Union, Bartolomeu Anania (1921-2011), born Valeriu Anania, was also a playwright, although he did not considered himself as such. The present study analyzes the dramaturgical work of Valeriu Anania. Through dramaturgy he did his duty to the paternal soul, but also to the language of the Romanian people.
