Summary/Abstract: There is an art of the word and a plurivalence of the term, especially in theology, but also in artistic creation. Theologian and writer, a scholar and a gentleman, Bartolomeu Valeriu Anania mentioned, in a poem from the cycle Anamneze, the power of the word and the therapy through beauty. His books are a long artistic exercise on the Romanian language. Over the years, Bartolomeu Valeriu Anania has received awards and medals as a reward for his efforts in the field of national culture. Bartolomeu Valeriu Anania’s memoirs tell the readers about the events the author went through during a life of ups and downs, but also about people, some friends, some foes and others he met by chance, as well as about places he used to live in or just visited and that he became emotionally attached to. It is not the first memoir of the theologian-writer. In 1983 he published the Rotunda of burning poplars, an eight-chapter memoirs book. The memoirs are captivating not only because of the novel like events, but also because of the fascinating characters, ilustrated by the author with humor and irony, with subtlety and intelligence. Bartolomeu Valeriu Anania remains a model of a seasoned eloquent scolar for our church and nation.
